Westchester Institute/Sacred Heart Academy

Westchester Institute was found in 1883. The following year the name of the school was changed to Sacred Heart Academy. It was a boarding school for boys, around 150-200 students annually. The Academy was under the direction of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and was the Junior Department of Manhattan College.
