Subject is Brother Hilarion Charles Severin, FSC, 1896-1992, of the St. Louis, Chicago, and Winona Districts. The oral history was gathered about the time of his 90th birthday in 1986.

Brother Charles was a member of the pioneer Christian Brothers faculty at St. Mary's College (Winona, MN) in 1933. This is now St. Mary's University of Minnesota. He was an outstanding teacher of Biology and Botany.
