Biographical / Historical

Research regarding the American Messenger of the Sacred Heart identified R.S.D. as the editor of the Messenger and the author of most of these pages, revealing his surname [Dewey] and his Jesuit affiliation [S.J.] and his residence at the Church of the Gesu parish, Philadelphia, PA. Additional research on the American Messenger of the Sacred Heart revealed a one paragraph description of the first printing of this pamphlet in its pages [see attached] Brother Robert Wilsbach, Assistant DENA Archivist, March 28, 2017.
