Biographical / Historical

“Al Senior, born in Yorkshire, England, in 1901; emigrated with his family in 1912, first to Canada, and then in 1915 to Ocean City. After graduation from Ocean City High School, he attended the New York Institute of Photography, and in 1922 opened his first studio in Ocean City. Over the next 50 years, Al and his cameras recorded people, places and events in Ocean City and the surrounding area, leaving a legacy of photographs to remind us of our heritage.” [text from back cover]
