Hardcover, 135 pages, illustrated, in dustjacket.

  • Biographical / Historical

Meehan, Francis Joseph [Zachary Leo, FSC] 1881-1966, or simply Brother Leo. Meehan, Francis Joseph [Brother Zachary Leo, FSC] 1881-1966, or simply Brother Leo: Francis Joseph Gallagher Meehan, born 8 October 1881, withdrew from the Institute, August 1941; married DeNeze Brown in 1946; died 11 December 1966. In all likelihood, this is why his religious name was removed from the title page.—Brother Robert Wilsbach, Assistant Archivist, DENA.

  • Bibliography

Title page lists as author by a Brother of the Christian Schools. Since the 1941 edition published by Kenedy lists Brother Leo [Francis Joseph Gallagher Meehan. 181-1966], this removal of his name is likely because he left the Institute in 1941, and married in 1946.
